Davis Bilingual Elementary School - 2014

In January, February and part of March I spent time working in a local school in Tucson, Arizona, USA. The Davis Bilingual Elementary School is a wonderful school with an active community feel, and great children !

Being a Spanish speaking school I enjoyed the opportunity of being able to speak Spanish with the teachers and children.

Working with an excellent art teacher, we made loads of wonderful clay projects with the children.

Commission for glass work for inner hall door

Work in progress for a new commission for an inner hall door.

Hall door window

The two panel glazed door related to the previous piece I created for the client for the fanlight to the main front door.

Creating my own special sheets of glass for the commission. The different sorts of texture I incorporate capture the light and help to give sparkle to the work.
